The Bagnada Museum, set up inside an authentic disused mine, is now even more welcoming and engaging thanks to a new exhibition itinerary that combines tradition and innovation.
Inside this museum it is possible to visit a room entirely dedicated to the spectacular Scerscen Caves, one of the most fascinating karst systems of the Valmalenco mountains, Italy.
We have created the layout of this room to give visitors the opportunity to discover the mysterious environment of the caves, their geological origin and the extraordinary explorations that in recent decades have revealed their depth and complexity.

For this project we took care of the three-dimensional survey of the Scerscen caves through laser scanners and photogrammetry techniques, also through the use of drones.
In addition to the survey, for the setup of the museum room we created interactive content such as 3D video animations, films, photographs, exhibition panels with maps and 3D surveys and a model representing the mountain and the caves inside it.
A room that combines scientific dissemination and visual suggestion, designed for adults and children, nature enthusiasts, budding speleologists and anyone who wants to discover the secrets hidden inside the mountains.
